HIKINIG
There are numerous opportunities for hiking in the vicinity of the farm,
from shorter and longer walks, to all-day mountaineering experiences.
You can visit Karst`s highest peak Trstelj, which, with its 643m height,
opens a view from Triglav in the Alps to Savudrija and Venice on the
coast. In the vicinity, there are also 22 km of Peace Trails, which
connect the Peace Trail from the Adriatic to the Tyrolean hills in memory
of the Isonzo Front.
CYCLING
The Karst plateau is a real treat for cyclists. You can try leisure cycling
on paved roads without much traffic and enjoy nature. However, you can
embark on demanding cycling adventures. A suitable place for asphalt
lovers or gravel trail cyclists.
CAVING
With its underground world, the Karst is a paradise for cavers. Under
the auspices of the Temnica Cave Club, you can enjoy a hike along the
Peace Trail, which includes a tour of three caves. In the company of a
cave guide, you can experience genuine contact with the Karst moorland
and visit three Karst caves (Krompirjeva, Klobasja and Lojzova jama),
which, during the First World War, provided shelter to soldiers on the
Isonzo Front. You can also treat yourself to a cave snack in one of the
caves.
If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, you can explore one of the
deeper caves nearby. The experience includes a quick course in rope
technique and then a descent into the cave under the watchful eyes of
the Temnica Cave Club cavers. These will take care of your safety and
grant an unforgettable cave adventure.
EQUESTRIANRY
Nearby, there are quite a few horse breeders, who will show you the beauties of the Karst from a horse saddle and take you to beautiful points with views reaching from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea.
